Back at the ranch, John (Kevin Costner) asks Rip (Cole Hauser) if he and Beth would move into the main house along with Carter (Finn Little). Jamie (Wes Bentley) was thrown for a loop when Gov. Perry (Wendy Moniz-Grillo) announced her choice to become the next Montana governor. And Jimmy (Jefferson White)… well, let’s say Jimmy got a handful of new chores at the 6666. Lloyd (Forrie J. Smith) makes peace with Walker (Ryan Bingham) and Teeter’s back! After being unceremoniously fired (and without cause), Teeter (Jen Landon) pleads her case to John with Rip championing her cause. If she didn’t show her brand and John didn’t give Teeter her job back, I would say Teeter has grounds for a lawsuit, wouldn’t you? I don’t see John firing Colby (Denim Richards) for the same transgressions that he was admonishing Teeter for. In an awkward but sweet hug, a bemused Rip tells Teeter to move her stuff back into the bunkhouse. In this week’s episode of  Yellowstone, “No Kindness for the Coward,” we open on a scene from 1883 and we learn the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Dutton tenacity (which we will refer to as Tenacious D from here on out). Tensions escalate with the protestors, but Beth has a plan. Down in Texas, Jimmy is starting to acclimate to life at the 6666 and even goes out on a date with Emily (Kathryn Kelly), the vet tech who introduced Jimmy to the world of horse breeding. Over in their new home, Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and Kayce (Luke Grimes) share a special moment. Frustrated that John is running for governor, Jamie contemplates what his next move might be. New episodes of Yellowstone air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network. Stay tuned after this week’s episode for a special presentation of the premiere episode of 1883.
