Who is hosting Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise?

Spade, Bass, Lil Jon and Burgess are replacing Harrison as the hosts of Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise. The new season kicks off Aug. 16 with Spade welcoming 23 former fan-favorite bachelors and bachelorettes to paradise. Adams, recently told PEOPLE that fans are “really going to like having” the Joe Dirt actor as a host. “I think what Bachelor Nation knows of David Spade is that he takes the piss out of the show, which I do that too,” Adams told the magazine. “I remember I was like, ‘I’m gonna tell you what’s going to be hard is, you can’t make fun of them when they’re in front of you.’” “And so I think it was tough for him in the beginning but then I think that he really became close to a lot of people, which is what always happens to us when we do the show,” he continued.  “He did such a good job. He’s so quick-witted, always had a good joke.” Page Sixpreviously reported that sources said the comedian “was picked because he’s a ‘Bachelor’ superfan who’s built a cult following among fellow fans because of the hilarious commentary about the show that he doles out on his Instagram account.” An insider told the outlet, “The producers want to put some fun in the show. They think it’s become too serious.” The member of Bachelor Nation has spoken about the franchise on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. When asked if he prefers the Bachelor or Bachelorette, Spade replied, “I just make fun of whatever’s in front of me. I like it all." Spade isn’t the only guest host with a connection to Bachelor Nation. Fans of the franchise might recall that Lil Jon made an appearance on Rebecca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. Wells revealed to Entertainment Tonight that “all of the guest celebrity hosts were amazing.” He said, “Titus was hilarious. He wouldn’t stop singing, instead of talking, he sings. He has so much freaking energy. I love having that guy around. Obviously Lance is amazing.” Contestant Tammy Ly admitted to ET that she “forgot” Harrison “even existed” while filming the new season in Mexico. The Paradise star also praised the celebrity hosts saying they “were so amazing it made it such a great experience.” She added, “I’m telling you right now this season is the most monumental season they ever released.”

Will Chris Harrison return to Bachelor in Paradise?

In June, it was confirmed that the veteran host would be leaving the Bachelor franchise. “Chris Harrison is stepping aside as host of The Bachelor franchise. We are thankful for his many contributions over the past 20 years and wish him all the best on his new journey,” Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment said (via The Hollywood Reporter) in a joint statement. Harrison, who months prior had told Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan that he planned “to be back,” also released a statement on Instagram saying, “I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter. I’m so grateful to Bachelor Nation for all of the memories we’ve made together. While my two-decade journey is wrapping up, the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime.”
