Bri has had a lot of firsts on the show already. She was the first out of the limo, she got the first rose handed out at the first rose ceremony and she also got the first one-on-one date. And she and Matt really seem to have had an instant connection. “What happened tonight can continue for a very long time,” Bri said during their date. It looks like Bri has staying power. But who is she, exactly? Here’s what you need to know about the woman who caught Matt’s eye early on.
How old is Bri Springs?
Bri is 24, according to her official Bachelor bio.
Where is Bri from?
Bri is from San Francisco.
What is Bri’s job?
So…this is being kept under wraps—you can’t even find a LinkedIn profile for Bri right now. Apparently that’s by design. Her ABC bio says this: “Bri now works for a high-profile social media company and is very proud of her achievements, as she should be.” Chris Harrison also referenced her career during his YouTube video announcing this season’s contestants. “I’m not allowed to say what tech company and I don’t want to put her job in jeopardy, but it is a big one,” he said. “She almost wasn’t on the show because she obviously didn’t want to give up this amazing job.”
Chris Harrison is a fan
“Everybody will really, I think, fall for Bri,” the Bachelor host said on YouTube. “Beauty, brains, unbelievably sincere…” Chris also said that Bri is a “straight-shooter, will always tell it like it is” and “wears her heart on her sleeve.”
Bri almost didn’t appear on the show
This, according to Chris, who said Bri nearly missed the chance to be on The Bachelor because of commitments at her job as a communications manager. “Legit career, unbelievable woman, incredibly smart, obviously beautiful,” Chris said.
She’s a hard worker
Bri’s bio says that because of her upbringing, she has “always outworked everyone around her because she learned early on that everything in life was earned not promised.”
Bri was raised by a single mom, whom she’s very close with
Bri’s Bachelor bio references this, saying that Bri was raised by her mother and grandmother “who made countless sacrifices to give her a fighting shot at having a successful life.” Bri shared during her one-on-one with Matt that her mom became pregnant with her when she was just 13. Afterward, her mom didn’t date for a really long time. “It’s just been me my whole life. Me and my mom,” she said. Bri also shared this sweet tribute on Instagram to her mom in 2018: “Always and forever a mommy’s girl…you deserve to be celebrated everyday, happy birthday mama,” she wrote. (Bri’s mom, BTW, says her in Instagram bio that she’s a “feminist raising feminists.”
She has two tattoos
Fun fact: Bri has a wave on her left wrist, and another tat on her right rib cage that says “thirteen” in Farsi. It’s unclear what either of them mean, but Bri did point out on the show that her mom became pregnant with her when she was 13.
She’s into the outdoors
Guess she was a good choice for that ATV date! Bri told ABC that it’s “very rare” for her to spend a weekend inside. Instead, she prefers to be hiking or hanging out at the park or on nearby beaches.
Bri’s not that into Instagram for personal use
Despite Bri working in social media, she doesn’t seem to do much posting on Instagram for herself. She posted this in May: And then this last week: And then after the New Year: But before all that, she last posted in January 2020: So…maybe Bri doesn’t have dreams of becoming an Instagram influencer, like so many fellow Bachelor Nation stars.
She has a thing for music festivals
While Bri doesn’t post a ton on Instagram, she does have a bunch of pics of herself at music fests like Coachella.
Spoiler alert: She might be in Matt’s top four
Details are a little scarce at this point, but Reality Steve lists the following women as making it to the Bachelor quarterfinals:
Serena PittRachael KirkconnellMichelle YoungBri (maybe)
Here’s what Reality Steve has to say about that: “I do not know who the 4th girl is, although I was told it was Bri Springs, I haven’t gotten the confirmation I needed,” he said. “But since I’m just laying out everything for you that I was told pre-season, there you go. If/When I get solid confirmation, I’ll let you know if Bri is in fact the 4th girl. Doesn’t mean she finished in 4th place. I’m just trying to give you the 4 girls that got hometown dates. Serena P., Rachael, and Michelle definitely did.” Next, find out who went home on Matt James’ Bachelor premiere.
