In “Straight from the Heart,” Elizabeth sees a new side of Lucas when a flu bug leaves her without a babysitter, and he volunteers to watch Little Jack. Lucas might be getting more than he bargained for when he discovers how exhausting watching one little boy can be! Meanwhile, Augustus Landis (Todd Thomson) is back in Hope Valley wreaking havoc on Elizabeth’s equilibrium while some students wreak havoc on his. Mei Suo (Amanda Wong) continues to tend to Newton, Nathan’s (Kevin McGarry) horse, and decides both the horse and its rider can use a little TLC. At the end of last week’s episode, we saw Lucas speaking tersely French to someone on the phone about Wyman Walden (Wesley Salter). It appears Lucas is looking to catch Walden in the midst of his many crooked dealings. Remember, last season he bilked Jesse and Clara out of their life savings. It looks like Lucas isn’t the only one keeping an eye on Walden. Bill (Jack Wagner) is also making sure the man and his henchmen aren’t doing anything nefarious, but a man like Walden will always find a way. In the Parade.com exclusive clip below, Lucas shows us how much (or how little) Pig Latin he knows. Don’t forget to check out the exclusive images in the gallery also!
