“The secret is out—we’re thrilled to bring back Too Hot to Handle for two new seasons in a tropical paradise,” Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s VP of unscripted and documentary series, told Variety when the breakout show was renewed for a third season just weeks before its release date. The first sizzling season became a go-to binge-watch during the early days of the pandemic, when tropical getaways (and flirting with strangers) felt like a distant memory for many. Season 2 followed in June 2021, with Netflix duping a new group of singles into spending a month at a vacation villa where they’re prohibited from touching one another—the trademark twist setting THTH apart from other island-based dating shows. “Netflix members around the world fell in love with the hilarious antics of season one, and now fans won’t have to wait long to see our new contestants try (and fail) to follow Lana’s strict rules with plenty of twists and surprises along the way,” Riegg added. As we settle in for another season of sexual tension (with that omniscient, Alexa-like robot presiding over it all), here’s everything we know about Too Hot to Handle Season 3.

When does Too Hot to Handle Season 3 premiere?

Drop it like it’s hot! Too Hot to Handle Season 3 drops on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022. Instead of releasing half the episodes at once, as Netflix did for Season 2, new episodes will hit the streamer every Wednesday this time around.

Is there a trailer for Too Hot to Handle Season 3?

There is now! The two-and-a-half-minute clip opens with majestic shots of beaches and mountains as the words “True Love Needs Real Connection” flash across the screen. Then the scantily clad contestants find out what show they’re on. Lana, the show’s “virtual assistant,” is revealed to them and warns them: “No kissing, no heavy petting and no sex of any kind.” (No wonder one male contestant calls Lana “the ultimate c***block.”) Lana also reveals that the Season 3 prize fund has been upped to a cool $200,000!

Who will be in the cast of Too Hot to Handle Season 3?

The cast was revealed in early January, and not surprisingly, it’s a bevy of bodacious babes. (One of them is literally named Beaux!) Here’s what we know about their names, ages, Instagram handles and occupations, plus what they say in their official Netflix bios:

Beaux

Instagram: @beauxraymond Beaux is a 24-year-old legal secretary from the UK. “Legal secretary Beaux was born in London, lives in Kent, but has all the glamour of an Essex girl! This cockney Elle Woods loves pulling out all the stops to catch a guy’s attention and ensure all eyes are on her! She’s had more boyfriends than hot dinners and if they can’t keep up with her banter they are out the door. Beaux’s type is a cheeky chappy who can keep her entertained. She prides herself on being honest and straight to the point so how will she react when Lana reveals herself and her true intentions?”

Georgia

Instagram: @georgiahassarati Georgia is a 26-year-old student midwife from Australia. “This happy go lucky Ozzie is living the single dream. A serial ‘ghoster’ Georgia gets bored easily and moves on quickly. She likes nothing more than traveling the globe where she has left a trail of broken hearts behind her. Georgia loves a bad boy and her celebrity crush is Justin Bieber – she plans on getting to know anyone with his features; Blonde, toned and tattooed. Any wannabee bad boys in the retreat better watch out for this heartbreaker.”

Harry

Instagram: @harryjohnson92 Harry is a 29-year-old tree surgeon from the UK. “Harry’s infectious laugh and persona make him the ultimate “secret” player. Harry hails from a small village outside of Middlesbrough and as a big fish in a small pond he’s been forced to cast his net wider. A self-proclaimed Harry Styles lookalike, this fun-loving party boy has charmed the ladies around the world from Thailand to Dubai as well as doing seasons in Ayia Napa and Zante. Harry is a tree surgeon so he’s used to dealing with wood, but can he keep it under control in Lana’s retreat?”

Holly

Instagram: @hollyscarfone Holly is a 23-year-old student/model from Colorado. “Canadian psychology student Holly is a work hard, play hard kind of gal. Although she is studying and partying at the University of Colorado her dream is to have boyfriends all over the globe. Holly is super confident and super sexual, she finds relationships boring and isn’t looking to settle down any time.”

Izzy

Instagram: @izfairr Izzy is a 22-year-old PT from the UK. “This PT from Cheltenham loves embracing single life. Rule breaking Izzy went to a boarding school and was often in trouble for sneaking off to meet boys. Sporty Izzy plays guys like she plays the hockey field and is competitive on and off the pitch. With her eye on the prize she makes it her mission to get what she wants and who she wants. Her dating life is a rollercoaster with a new man added to her rosta every week.”

Jaz

Instagram: @jazkills Jaz is a 25-year-old model/entrepreneur from Virginia. “Fashion designer Jaz loves to make sure she’s dressed to the nines whether she’s going shopping or hitting the dance floor. She prefers ‘situationships’ to relationships and when things get serious, she runs away.  Her Dad was in the air force and she is a self proclaimed ‘military brat’, if she wants something she is going to get it but her standards are high so if you don’t meet them she’ll be onto the next.”

Nathan

Instagram: @nathsoan Nathan is a 24-year-old model from South Africa. “Cape Town’s most notorious party animal Nathan sweeps up the girls at every event he attends. This fun-loving, free spirit has the gift of the gab and can talk any girl into his bed. A model and a business management student Nathan has high energy levels and short attention span Nathan gets bored very easily. Nathan describes himself as an ‘international playboy’ who loves the game so he won’t be giving up his single life anytime soon – at least not without help from Lana.”

Patrick

Instagram: @thepatmullen Patrick is a 29-year-old model/actor from Hawaii. “Six-foot-five, guitar-playing Hawaiian hunk Patrick has a love of the outdoors as well as a love of the ladies. Patrick is more than happy to fulfil the holiday romance fantasies of any beautiful girl to visit Hawaii. He has a typical routine to give them their unforgettable dream night under the stars. However, don’t expect him to be there when you wake up in the morning. Patrick has been with girls from all over the world -  ‘I’ve been in almost every country in Europe, but I’ve never stepped foot in those places’. He has a degree in botany and believes every flower is unique just like every lady.”

Stevan

Stevan is a 26-year-old model from Los Angeles. “His dad wanted to call him Evan and his mum wanted to call him Steve: please meet Stevan. This tattooed model knows how to make sure all eyes are on him. His bad boy looks and attitude have won this party boy plenty of female attention in LA. Now he is ready to open up the international market. Stev describes himself as ‘the flirtatious, loud and obnoxious one’ and says he started his player lifestyle young - he won biggest flirt at high school!” Instagram: @stevanditter

Truth

Instagram: @truthsworld Truth is a 23-year-old student from Texas. “This basketball playing Texan is used to scoring on and off the court. With a tall, athletic build and a winning smile, Truth has no difficulties in securing a team of beautiful girls for his rosta. A basketball scholar and criminology student this charmer is so used to shooting his shot and being the star player, he’ll have a rude awakening when Lana introduces a brand new ball game!”

When did production begin on Too Hot to Handle Season 3?

Just call it Two Hot to Handle! Seasons 2 and 3 of Too Hot to Handle were reportedly filmed back to back in late fall and winter 2020, meaning the Season 3 cast’s sexless summer will likely be set at the Turtle Tail Estate in Turks and Caicos. According to a Netflix video—narrated by Christine Quinnof Selling Sunset, no less—the splashy space includes a bedroom shared by the ten singles and a private suite (reserved for couples who follow Lana’s rules on forming connections). Filming both seasons at once likely made it easier for producers to handle surprising contestants with the show’s real name. Season 2 singles came to the island believing they were on fictional show Parties in Paradise, complete with comedian Jeff Dye as a fake host. Meanwhile, based on the Netflix video, it seems Season 3 singles were told they were on Pleasure Island before the show’s true title—and less-than-pleasurable premise—was revealed. Since more time has seemingly passed since Season 3 was filmed, it’s safe to say there’ll also be a lot more off-screen drama to unpack once the show airs.

Is anyone from Too Hot to Handle still together?

All of the Too Hot to Handle Season 1 romances have since cooled off, with pairs including Rhonda Paul and Sharron Townsend and Lyda Clyma and David Birtwistle calling it quits in 2020. Perhaps the most high-profile breakup of the bunch? Harry Jowsey and Francesca Farago. The on-again-off-again couple got engaged with a Ring Pop during the reunion special that aired in May 2020 but called it off in June 2020. They briefly reunited in May 2021 before breaking up for good.  Farago returned to the Netflix reality show universe with a cameo on Love is Blind: After The Altar, which aired in July 2021, where she created tension between Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli. She’s not the only star to score more Netflix screen time following Too Hot to Handle, however, as fellow Season 1 star Chloe Veitch remained single but went on to compete on The Circle. Season 2, on the other hand, produced at least one pairing that’s stood the test of time: Emily Miller and Cam Holmes, who told Us Weekly in July 2021 that they were dating and living together. It appears the pair are still going strong, as they both posted photos together while celebrating New Year’s Eve heading into 2022. Not all the Season 2 singles were quite so lucky in love, however, with couples including Melinda Melrose and Marvin Anthony and Lawrence and Joey Joy breaking up after the show.

Who won Season 1 and 2 of Too Hot to Handle?

(Warning: Too Hot to Handle spoilers ahead!!) Encouraging contestants to trade hookups for deeper emotional connections, the show deducts money from the $100,000 cash prize every time prohibited physical contact occurs. At the end of Season 1, the cast left with $55,000. The money was split between all ten remaining contestants: Bryce Hirschberg, Chloe Veitch, David Birtwistle, Francesca Farago, Harry Jowsey, Kelz Dyke, Lydia Clyma, Nicole O’Brien, Rhonda Paul and Sharron Townsend.  In a Season 2 twist, the contestants instead voted for a single winner—Marvin Anthony, a Parisian model—to take home the full $55,000 prize money.
