The “Anti-Hero” singer was nominated for Best Original Song for “Carolina,” her contribution to Where the Crawdads Sing. Swift, 33, lost out to composer M.M. Keeravani, Kala Bhairava and Rahul Siligunj’s “Naatu Naatu” from the film RRR. It was the first time ever that an Indian movie won a Golden Globe, beating out not just Swift, but also Lady Gaga (“Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick) and Rihanna (“Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) for the honor.
