A home where Taylor Swift spent several years of her childhood is on the market for $999,999. It’s rumored that Swift wrote some of her earliest hits in this Georgian Colonial house in Wyomissing, Penn., including “Love Story” and “Teardrops on my Guitar.” This is apparently the last house she lived in before she and her family relocated to Nashville so she could pursue her musical career.  The three-story, five-bedroom home, built in 1929, boasts hardwood floors and ornate crown molding. There are plenty of cozy touches throughout, such as a wood-burning fireplace in the living room and angled and vaulted ceilings. Outside, there’s a heated pool and hot tub and an extensive backyard. This could very well be Swift’s inspiration for the lyrics of her 2008 song, “Best Day,” when she sings nostalgically, “I grew up in a pretty house and I had space to run…” The Swift family moved out of the home in 2004 and rented it out for a few years after that before selling, according to the Philly Voice. The man who bought it in 2007, Daniel Mashevksy, had not heard of Swift, who had just come out with her first, eponymous studio album the year before. Mashevsky and his family found keepsakes from Swift while doing renovations on the home, according to the Philly Voice, including old toys and a note she wrote about a trip to Disney World.
