The country-pop star showed up to the 2022 People’s Choice Awards in a full-on cheetah print ensemble that may look familiar to her longtime fans. Twain, now 57, appeared to be channeling the look from her “That Don’t Impress Me Much” music video, where she donned a memorable hooded suit with cheetah print from head-to-toe. Sporting red hair at the time, the country songstress also rocked a two-piece version of the look, baring her toned tummy for the iconic video. For the awards show on Tuesday, Dec. 6, the country songstress replicated the unforgettable outfit on the red carpet in a sheer-topped gown with cheetah-print accents, including a bandeau top with matching fabric draped across her shoulders and hooded over her head. To make the nostalgic look complete, she also had a hot pink lip and bubblegum-colored hair for the occasion, referencing her red locks peeking out of the cheetah hood at the time of her music video. Twain—who is currently gearing up for the release of her next studio album, Queen of Me—did reveal on the red carpet that the pink hair is only temporary for now, although she has debated keeping it, per Today. Despite the event coming over 20 years after the music video in question, the see-through fabric of the dress showed off Twain’s fit figure, with her abs still looking as chiseled as ever. The “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” singer is slated to perform at Tuesday’s award show at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., where she will also be honored with the Music Icon Award.
