Valderrama was joined by Sean Murray (Timothy McGee), Katrina Law (Jessica Knight), Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer) and Diona Reasonover (Kasie Hines) in this Instagram video. “We’re back on set! We’re very happy,” Valderrama introduces the video. And Murray adds, “We’re going to bring the smoke.” For those of you, like me, who had no clue what that meant, I looked it up: “Bring the smoke” means your team is ready to take on any challenger. “There’s going to be new stuff you’ve never seen before. It’s going to be very exciting,” Dietzen chimed in. And Valderrama wrapped it up saying, “This season we’re happy to say that we’re doing things you’ve never seen from NCIS before. We’re going to change things up and surprise you guys. Get ready.” When NCIS returns this fall, it will continue the season 19 cliffhanger in which Alden Parker (Gary Cole) has gone off with his ex-wife Vivian Kolchak (Teri Polo) to try to solve the Raven case. Parker thinks his ex-wife is on his side, but at the very last minute, we saw that she is involved in whatever is happening to Parker. The season 19 finale also showed us Jimmy and Jessica beginning a romantic relationship, which they seal with a kiss. NCIS will premiere its 20th season on Sept. 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
