The Top Gun star had no problem third-wheeling over the weekend as he stepped out for dinner with Salma Hayek and her husband, François-Henri Pinault, but the couple may have been a little surprised at just how much of a spectacle he caused by just being, well, himself. While stepping out to eat at a London restaurant, fans bombarded the 60-year-old actor with photo and autograph requests, cell-phone pictures and more. Hayek took to Instagram to share the documented experience, posting a photo of herself and Cruise, who kept it low-key with a simple black polo shirt and dark denim jeans, along with several video snippets showcasing excited fans crowding around the Mission: Impossible actor inside of the restaurant. “When you take your friend Tom to dinner. In the photo, the Bliss actress appeared seemingly overwhelmed in a sheer black tank top under a black jacket paired with a brown maxi skirt. Cruise was a good sport, smiling along for countless fan photos and speaking to people as they approached him. The outing comes after Cruise’s recent immense success with movie sequel Top Gun: Maverick, which has surpassed $1 billion at the global box office, outperforming the iconic 1997 film, Titanic.
