The cute ad shows a father, who appears to be a single dad, helping his tween daughter get ready for her first day of school. Their close bond is clear as he wakes her up and makes her laugh with a goofy dance. Then he hangs out with her in the kitchen as she packs her lunch, throwing her a sweet look as if to say, “She’s growing up so fast…” Later, when she’s eating lunch at school, she finds the sticky note her dad slipped into her lunchbox saying, “I’m so proud of you!” But the waterworks really begin when the father is making dinner that evening. He pulls a meal kit out of the fridge and discovers the sticky note his daughter left for him: “Proud of you too <3.’ Cue the tears. The video has racked up more than 12 million views on YouTube, with people in the comments calling it “wholesome” and “a very realistic not often publicized aspect of single fathers.” “to all my father’s (sic) out there making it happen,” one person wrote in the comments, with another person wishing “Peace & Love to all the fathers out there.” “Sent this to all my friends, we all have tears. In a good way,” another commenter said. Next up, did you miss any of the best Super Bowl 2022 ads? Watch them all here.
