On Sept. 17, the rapper was about halfway through his concert and performing the song “Circles” when he fell into a hole on stage.  Malone could be seen grabbing his side and stomping his foot as the stage crew was ushered to his side. According to Deadline, medics rushed to where Malone lay for several minutes after the fall, assisting him in moving off the stage.  As he left, Malone promised the audience he would return to finish the concert, but many were unsure. After a 15-20 minute break, Malone returned to the stage and performed a few more songs, including “Rockstar” and “Congratulations.” Malone was reported to be wincing and holding his ribs throughout his last few songs. Following the shocking fall, many fans worried about Malone’s condition and whether or not his Twelve Carat Tour, which had just started, would continue. Fortunately, Malone posted an update on Twitter assuring everyone that he was okay and would continue to perform. In the video, Malone addressed the fans in St. Louis and said, “Hey St. Louis, I fking love you guys so much. Thank you for the patience. Thank you for putting up with my dumb a." He explained exactly what caused the fall: “so whenever we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitar’s on the guitar stand and it goes down, and there’s this big a** hole. And so I go around there, turn the corner, and bust my a**…Got me pretty good.” Luckily, he’s alright as Malone continued, “We just got back from the hospital and everything’s good, they gave me some pain meds and everything, so we can keep kicking a** on the tour.” Malone concluded the video by thanking his fans once more for their support and promising the people of St. Louis that he would perform an extra-long show next time he stops in the city.
