The series of conversations about the book will feature some celebrity hosts, including Gayle King, Rob Lowe, and Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. According to Macmillan Publishers, the “book is going to change the way you see your life.” In it, Oprah, who experienced sexual abuse as a young girl, shared “stories from her own past, understanding through experience the vulnerability that comes from facing trauma and adversity at a young age.” During their personal conversations, the A Wrinkle in Time actress and Dr. Perry discussed “the impact of our pasts and how healing must begin with a shift to asking ‘What happened to you?’ rather than ‘What’s wrong with you?’”
