The bigger question may be, who isn’t returning? And that someone is… (SPOILER ALERT!!)… Mark Cuevas! Fans will recall Cuevas’ tumultuous relationship with Jessica Batten over the course of Season 1—and of course, their 10-year age gap. The pair got engaged in the pods, but Batten ultimately left Cuevas at the altar on their wedding day.
Who is Mark Cuevas dating?
Following the Netflix show, Cuevas was briefly linked to fellow Love Is Blind star Lauren “LC” Chamblin. However, LC revealed in June 2021 that she broke it off with Cuevas after finding out that he was allegedly cheating. “Mark and I were casually dating, but talked about remaining exclusive, especially because of COVID-19, but that’s over now. The main thing I learned from the show and past relationships is that I deserve to be treated like a priority, and not an option,” she told PEOPLE. Meanwhile, Cuevas stressed that he and LC were never exclusive. “I enjoyed spending time with LC for a few weeks, but at no point were we in an exclusive relationship, as LC confirmed herself,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE. “I wish her the absolute best.” At the time, an Instagram user accused Cuevas of cheating on Batten during Love Is Blind. “Mark was sleeping with MULTIPLE women at the studio he trained at DURING the show. Maybe show those interviews with his workers next time @Netflix,” the user wrote in a screenshot captured by Comments by Celebs. Batten replied to the comment writing, “Wow. News to me, I only knew about one.” Cuevas’ rep denied the allegation, telling PEOPLE that he was “fully committed to the LIB process and to Jessica” while on the show.

Not long after his split from LC, Cuevas began dating Aubrey Rainey last summer. The couple got engaged in November 2020 and welcomed their first child, son Ace Anthony Cuevas, in April 2021. While Cuevas does not appear in After the Altar, both of his exes, Batten and LC, do. LC recalled on the show seeing a photo of Cuevas with the woman he has since had a baby with while they were “dating” and “talking every day.” Batten admitted that she wasn’t surprised by LC’s experience. She said, “He had been fooling me the entire time.” Amber understood Cuevas skipping the anniversary party. She told Diamond and LC, “I understand them not being here 100 percent. Mark is being supportive for his girlfriend.”
