Lizzo was a Christmas vision on Friday night as she dressed up as iconic holiday characters for her performance at iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball in New York City. The Grammy-winner, 34, stepped out onto the Madison Square Garden stage on Friday, Dec. 9, while rocking a sequined red and white furry coat to embody none other than Santa’s wife, Mrs. Claus. While delivering the festive performance, Lizzo even brought out a flute to accompany her powerhouse vocals, while she was surrounded by backup dancers dressed in sparkling all-red bodysuits. But partway through her set, the “Truth Hurts” artist had a bit of wardrobe change while telling the audience that she had another costume up her sleeve. “I feel awful because I’ve been keeping a secret from you all,” she jokingly told the crowd. “I’m not actually Mrs. Claus.” “I’m the Grinch!” she exclaimed while throwing off her coat and revealing the full-on green outfit that had been peaking out from underneath her Mrs. Claus ensemble. “And the Grinch is ready to turn up!” The new outfit featured a green striped body suit complete with a bright green wig and matching neon eye makeup. Lizzo shared a clip of the moment to her TikTok page after the show, captioning the comical video, “ITS TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME🎄” “Okay but she looks SO FREAKING GOOD,” one fan gushed under the video. “That costume goes hard 😂,” another chimed in, while someone else called Lizzo the “Best part of the jingle ball!!!” Other musical acts who performed at the holiday show included Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, Backstreet Boys, The Kid LAROI, Ava Max and more.
