The Voice coach has been granted a temporary restraining order against a woman that has allegedly turned up at the singer’s property on multiple occasions over the last couple of months. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the singer is looking to protect herself, her family, her nanny and her house manager from 56-year-old Huguette Nicole Young, who Clarkson’s attorney, Ed McPherson, says has been harassing her since late October. The publication spoke with sources from local law enforcement earlier this week, who shared that Clarkson has never met Young before. The “Behind These Hazel Eyes” songstress has yet to come face-to-face with the woman, but she’s been caught on camera dropping things, including dog toys, stickers and plants, off on the porch on several occasions. According to the documents filed by McPherson, Michael Lopez, Clarkson’s head of security for several years, counts at least 18 visits from Young. The security team warned the woman that she was being recorded trespassing. She reportedly apologized but continued to return, and at this time it’s unclear if law enforcement has spoken with her to determine her motives. Clarkson has requested the woman be required to remain at least a football field’s length away from her home, workplace, and children’s school. Until a formal hearing is held later this month, a judge has granted Clarkson’s request for a temporary restraining order.
