Margaret “Mila” Laura, Bush Hager’s oldest daughter, made a surprise appearance on the Tuesday, Dec. 20 episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, and she wasted no time spilling the tea about her mom while live on air. While sitting at the table next to Bush Hager, Mila was asked if she knew what the show’s co-host Hoda Kotb loves most about her mom. “You know when I love her the most, Mila? When she’s laughing so hard she can’t catch her breath,” Kotb, 58, said, prompting the 9-year-old to unleash an embarrassing story about Bush Hager, 41. “Yeah, one time she was laughing in our living room and she peed her pants!” Mila spilled, while reminding her mom, “You changed your pajamas!” “Thank you, Mila,” Bush Hager responded with sarcasm. “Thank you so much.” “I love her so much, but it’s time for her to go,” she then said, while hugging her daughter. “If she’s already dropped one truth bomb, who knows what’s coming.” Mila is the eldest of Bush Hager’s three children with husband Henry Hager. The pair also share Poppy Louise, 7, and son Henry “Hal” Harold, 3. “I think Hoda is trying to get the truth bombs out, but no more,” Bush Hager added. But Kotb clearly had other plans, as she then tried to goad more funny stories out of the talkative child, asking, “Is that the last one?” After thinking for a few seconds, Mila then blurted out, “She never wears underwear!” “She is not wearing it right now! I saw her change!” she exclaimed. While Bush Hager was seen cringing in embarrassment, Kotb seemed to be loving the moment, while singing, “We love you, Mila!” “OK, goodbye! Goodbye, I love you!” Bush Hager then chimed in as her daughter then went off stage. The truly is never a dull moment on Today with Hoda & Jenna, which airs weekday mornings as the fourth hour of NBC’s Today at 10:00 am EST.
