Mais oui! Netflix teased in that “Everything We Can Tell You” video on Dec. 15 that, for starters, Emily (Lily Collins) will have “more responsibilities” at Savoir, the French marketing agency where she works. They also blurred out a presentation that Emily will give in the office, suggesting that she’ll land a new client in Season 2. We already knew from a previous teaser that Emily travels to St. Tropez in Season 2, but the new video features a shot of Emily being big-time surprised when pals Mindy (Ashley Park) and Camille (Camille Razat) show up there, suggesting Emily will travel to Riviera paradise alone (at least at the start). Meanwhile, remember how hot chef Gabriel (LucasBravo) had plans at the end of Season 1 to open his own restaurant outside of Paris, except then Camille told Emily that he’d changed his mind? Well, the latest video shows that Gabriel will get his own eatery in Season 2 after all, but that it will be in Paris. What does that mean for Gabriel and Camille’s breakup at the end of Season 1, or for a possible future between Gabriel and Emily? All Netflix will say is that the three will remain in “close quarters.” But wait, there’s more! Netflix has revealed that Mindy will try to relaunch a singing career and, it seems, will wind up in bed with someone that will shock Emily! And speaking of flirtations, that Netflix spoiler video blurs out the face of a man who apparently is crushed on by both Emily’s boss, Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), and coworker Julien (Samuel Arnold). Thanks to the Dec. 15 video, we also now know that Emily’s old boss from the U.S., Madeline (KateWalsh) reappears in Season 2, as does Mathieu (Charles Martins) and some sort of mystery “smitten gentleman from Emily’s past.” Last but certainly not least: We’ll find out how old Emily really is! The sneak-peek video promises “Season 2 clears that right up,” as Emily will celebrate her birthday, which means “we’ll learn how many candles she’s earned.” Spoiler about that spoiler: Emily says in one Season 2 scene that it’s a “nothing birthday,” so don’t expect something like the big 3-0!
Is there an Emily in Paris Season 2 trailer?
Aussi, mais oui! The first full-length trailer for Season 2 of Emily in Paris arrived on Nov. 18, and it dropped major bombshells. For starters, Emily confesses that what was supposed to be her farewell to Gabriel turned into “the most incredible night of sex that I’ve ever had in my entire life!” Just as quickly, we also learn (through Gabriel’s long-term girlfriend, Camille) that Gabriel won’t be moving out of the City of Lights after all. However, that two-minute preview also seemed to suggest that zzzexy Gabriel won’t be Emily’s sole Season 2 love interest; she can also be seen in the clip cozying up to another hunky guy. A previously released teaser that arrived in September 2021 opened with an illustration of a postcard reading “RSVP to Saint-Tropez.” That’s right: Emily’s headed to the French Riviera!
Who is in the cast of Emily in Paris for Season 2?
If you’re wondering whether your favorite Emily in Paris stars will be back for Season 2, the answer is definitely “oui!” In addition to Season 1’s mainstays, we’ll also be seeing several new faces pop up in Paris this time around. Here’s who’s expected to appear in Season 2.
Lily Collins as Emily
Would it really be Emily in Paris without Emily? Collins, who earned an Emmy nomination for playing the show’s titular twenty-something American, is set to return for Season 2, telling Glamour, “I hope that we get a Season 3, because I really hope we get to come back and do this again.” Collins, who is a producer on the series as well, also addressed criticism of the show’s diversity and its depiction of Paris, saying in part of the second season, “I was really passionate about including [more] women, people of color, and also sexual orientation, to really show more of what the world is, and be a part of the Emily family.”
Camille Razat as Camille
As the show’s stars tease that the main love triangle might become a “throuple,” Razat is returning as Camille, Gabriel’s girlfriend and Emily’s friend. “I hope we will see more of Camille’s maybe dark side because she’s always in a good mood. And I think nobody is always in a good mood, even if you’re a good person,” Razat toldEntertainment Tonight. “So I hope that we can see more the tough part of her.”
Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
It appears the writers have cooked up several new plotlines for Gabriel in Season 2. While it once seemed like the handsome chef would bid Paris adieu, Season 1’s cliffhanger revealed he was staying in the city after all. French actor Bravo teased toElle Australia that the characters are “going to travel” and that there’s “so much more exploring to do” in part deux of the stylish show, emphasizing that Emily won’t only be in Paris this season. “Gabriel’s life was sad before [Emily] came along,” Bravo added toOprah Daily of his character’s trajectory. “He knew what he wanted but he didn’t know how to get it. He didn’t know how to be the best version of himself.”
Ashley Park as Mindy
Park is back playing Emily’s first friend in France. The debut season saw Mindy, a nanny originally from Shanghai, redeeming herself after an embarrassing appearance on a competition show. In the second season, however, it seems she could also be spending time with Emily’s coworkers. Park reportedly teased to TV Guide, “Mindy still hasn’t met Sylvie or Julien or Luc so it’ll be fun if those worlds merged a bit.”
Samuel Arnold as Julien
Julien, Emily’s rival turned friend at Savoir, will be back in the office for Season 2. In an interview with Town & Country following Season 1, actor Arnold said he “loved [his] character from A to Z,” adding, “If I had the choice to choose any character, I would choose him. What I like most about him is his freedom—he can say or do whatever he wants, he speaks his mind and it’s OK because he has this position at Savoir.”
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
Très chic! Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu will be returning as Sylvie, Emily’s boss at Savoir. The actress previously toldNews Scene Magazine that the show marked her first time playing a character like Sylvie, adding, “She’s sassy, vulnerable, has a dry sense of humor. She’s politically incorrect… And being Emily’s nemesis allows me to say and do stuff you usually don’t do or say in real life.”
William Abadie as Antoine
Abadie was promoted to a series regular for Season 2 of the campy comedy, meaning we’ll get to see how the charming fragrance mogul’s relationship with Emily plays out now that he’s invested in Gabriel’s restaurant.
Bruno Gouery as Luc
Bruno Gouery will reprise his role as Luc, Emily’s outspoken French co-worker who played a part in several of her Season 1 adventures and misadventures at Savoir.
Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
The original cast members won’t be the only stars lighting up the City of Lights this time around, as Laviscount will be joining the cast as Alfie, a Londoner working for a UK bank in Paris. PerDeadline, the new character is “a sarcastic and charming cynic” who “refuses to speak French, or immerse himself in French culture.” He and Emily “have an antagonist relationship that evolves into something more,” and, from the looks of the trailer, he might just be a new love interest for the social media-savvy marketing executive. Laviscount isn’t the only new face this season, however, as Netflix tweeted that Jeremy O. Harris and Arnaud Binot will also appear as guest stars, playing an “iconic fashion designer” and a “party boy owner of a popular Saint Tropez nightclub,” respectively.

After her boss’ surprise pregnancy led marketing-exec Emily (Lily Collins) to relocate last-minute from Chicago to Paris at the start of the show, her next move has even more riding on it: Will she stick with new boo Mathieu (Charles Martins)—who’s not only super-smitten with her, but also happens to run the famous French fashion house she reps—or will she dare to dive into an affair with smoldering chef/neighbor Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), even though he’s maybe still romantically attached to one of her Parisian BFFs, Camille (Camille Razat)?

Gabriel himself (well, the actor who plays him, Lucas Bravo) told Cosmopolitan about a possible “#Gabriemily” romance: “The way we left things, Gabriel is definitely more excited, or more intoxicated by the promise of going further down the road with Emily, that’s for sure.” He also recently said to Glamour, “I think [Gabriel] loves Camille very much, but he also shares a lot of passion with Emily. There’s sexual chemistry, yes, but there’s more to it than that. I think he’s still in the process of understanding what’s going on.”
Does Camille know that Emily wound up in bed with Gabriel?
After Emily finds out in the finale that Gabriel is staying in Paris instead of opening a new restaurant in Normandy, she gets a heart-stopping text from Camille that reads, “I just heard from Gabriel. Bravo has suggested that Emily may wind up more entangled with Camille as the plot progresses—and that the groundwork for a potential same-sex romance was laid from the start. “Like Camille, when she kisses Emily on the mouth, and she’s like, ‘I’m not sorry,’” Bravo points out to Cosmo. “Anything could happen between the three of them. I think Darren [Star] wants this second season to be really open-minded.”

Series creator Darren Star revealed to TV Insider in October 2020 that he already had ideas for Season 2, teasing that Camille’s last text to Emily, asking “can we talk?” would be a “big question” for Season 2. He also teased seeing Sylvie and Lily’s Chicago boss Madeline (Kate Walsh) interact. “Maybe we’ll see them working together in Season 2,” he revealed.
