To honor the series finale of The CW show–a reboot of the classic ’80s series–the actress posted a candid snapshot of herself and several other cast members on set for the final episode, which aired on Sept. 16. In the photo posted to Instagram, Gillies embraced her costars Elaine Hendrix, Eliza Bennett, and James Mackay. She captioned the photo, “We did it ✨.” The last cast member in the photo is a bit of a surprise for fans, as his character, Steve Carrington doesn’t appear in the show after the Season 2 finale–that is, until the series finale, “Catch 22.” A few of Gillies’ costars left comments on the post. One was Rafael de la Fuente, who played Sam Jones, “This picture 🥹,” he gushed. Tiffany Fallon, who appeared in one episode in 2021, also sent a note of appreciation: a simple trophy emoji. And Felisha Terrell, who portrayed Nina Fournier in Season 5, commented with some red heart emojis. While Gillies’ longtime friend and former Victorious costar, Daniella Monet, left a crying emoji to reflect her emotions. Many fans also shared their feelings about the end of Dynasty on the post. One person wrote: “Thank you for all being so incredible 💗.” “im going to miss staying up late to watch dynasty,” another admitted. De la Fuente shared his own Instagram post celebrating Dynasty–a sweet photo of himself with Gillies and Mackay at a restaurant, laughing and munching on fries. “A wild ride. So grateful. #DynastyForever,” he humbly captioned the photo. Fans shared the same sentimental feelings over the show’s end in de la Fuente’s comments as they did in Gillies’. Now that Dynasty is officially over, it’s unclear what’s next for Gillies and the rest of the cast; only time will tell! More Pop Culture:
