When Are Lobsters in Season?
Lobster season varies according to where you live. Of the three largest lobster producing states, Maine, produces lobsters all year long, with the catch being the highest from June until December. As for Florida, lobster season tends to be from August until March, and for California, from September until March. Apparently, states with warmer climates harvest more lobsters during fall and winter, when the waters are cooler, and states with cooler climates catch more lobsters during the summer.
How to Cook Lobster
There are many different ways you can cook whole lobsters and lobster tails, but the most popular ways tend to be steamed, broiled and grilled.
